Live: Compare two estimates side by side

The AI claims desk for independent body shops

Estimates matched. Supplements drafted. Payments chased. You approve every word that reaches the insurer.

Works from the estimate PDFs you already have, whether they were written in CCC, Mitchell or Audatex.

Example: an insurer’s estimate beside a shop’s estimate for the same repair. Three lines match and six differences are marked, leaving the insurer’s estimate $538.55 short.

Every line checked, in minutes.

Matching a $20,000 estimate by hand can take two to three hours. ultri does the matching and shows you what’s different.

  • You stay the sender. Nothing reaches an insurer until you approve it.

  • Works from the PDFs you already get, so there’s no new portal for anyone.

  • Matches CCC, Mitchell and Audatex estimates, even when their labor times differ.

One insurance repair is eleven jobs for your front office

  1. 1

    Claim intake

Claim number, coverage, deductible and rental limit. Authorization and direction-to-pay signed.

  2. 2

    Initial estimate

Written from photos and scans, with OEM repair procedures and each insurer’s rules on parts and labor rates.

  3. 3

    Reconciliation

The insurer’s version matched to yours, line by line. Every cut, change and omission flagged.

    Live now
  4. 4

    Supplements

Hidden damage photographed after teardown, written up with citations, sent, and sent again each round.

  5. 5

    Parts approval

Part type confirmed before ordering. Price changes, backorders and returns supplemented.

  6. 6

    Follow-up

Adjusters chased on their deadlines. Reinspections and rental extensions requested. Customer kept posted.

  7. 7

    Payment

Final invoice out, insurer payment and deductible in, lender-endorsed checks handled, short pays chased.

  8. 8

    Escalation

The file assembled for an appraiser, an attorney or a complaint to the state regulator.

  9. 9

    Total losses

Spotted before more work goes in. Storage and teardown billed, vehicle released.

  10. 10

    Compliance and records

Proof of scans and calibrations kept. Post-repair audits survived. DRP scorecards watched.

  11. 11

    Analytics

Denial patterns by insurer and by adjuster, so the next estimate is written knowing them.

ultri is being built to carry the paperwork in all eleven. See what it does at each stage

ultri works the claim before, during and after the repair.

Compare is live today. The rest is being built with our pilot shop.

Before you submit

Catch what you forgot to bill

ultri reads your own estimate before the insurer does and lists the billable operations you left off: the scans, the headlamp aim, the feather, prime and block. Preventing a cut is cheaper than disputing one.

When the insurer answers

See every cut, change and omission

Their estimate against yours, line by line, even when theirs was written in a different system. Discounts you never agreed to, the wrong tax rate, trimmed labor times and swapped part types are all marked before you order a single part.

After teardown

Supplements that arrive with their proof

At teardown, ultri tells the tech which photos and measurements each line will need. Then it writes the supplement: every line with its reason, its citation, and the matching photo or invoice attached.

Coming next

While you wait

Nobody slips past their deadline

ultri tracks when each insurer owes you an answer and drafts the follow-up, the rental extension and the reinspection request. One tap sends it from your own mailbox.

Coming next

Illustration: three drafted emails waiting for the shop’s approval. The first is a follow-up on an unanswered supplement.

After delivery

Know what was paid and what wasn’t

Paid against billed for every repair order. Short pays, payments sent to the customer by mistake, and checks still out ten days after the car left are found and chased while they’re fresh.

Coming next

Illustration: a ledger of delivered repair orders showing what was billed, what was paid, and which ones need chasing.

Insurer memory

It remembers what each adjuster concedes

Every approval and denial is kept by insurer and by adjuster. The next supplement leads with the argument that has worked at that desk before.

Coming next

Illustration: a record of which supplement arguments one adjuster has approved, with a tally for each.

What ultri leaves to you, on purpose

  • ultri never contacts an insurer.

Negotiating a claim for someone else can count as public adjusting, which takes a license. So ultri drafts and you send, from your own mailbox, in your shop’s name.

  • Changes go into your estimating system by your hand.

Outside software has no general way to write into CCC, Mitchell or Audatex, and we won’t run a robot that clicks through them against their terms. You get a short checklist to key in.

  • Someone still photographs the car.

Software can’t see behind a bumper cover. ultri tells your tech which shots and measurements each line needs, so nobody goes back for one.

  • The policy decides OEM or aftermarket.

No citation overrides your customer’s policy. ultri flags the part type before you order, so the argument happens before the money is spent.

Features

Create your shop’s account

Everything in this section is being built now. Compare is what’s live today.

Letters your customer can send

The policy is your customer’s contract, so their complaint carries weight yours doesn’t. ultri drafts the letter to the insurer, and the complaint to the state regulator if it comes to that, ready for the owner to sign and send.

Illustration: a short letter to the insurer, written for the vehicle owner to sign, with a regulator complaint drafted behind it.

A file an appraiser or attorney can pick up

When the insurer won’t move, ultri puts the estimates, supplements, photos, emails and payments into one file, in order, with nothing missing.

See who cuts what

Denial patterns by insurer and by adjuster: which operations get cut, how often, and what finally got them paid.

Connections

Fits the shop you already run

No new system for you. No new portal for the insurer.

ultri reads from the places your claim already lives, and hands work back the way your shop already sends it. Today that means uploading PDFs. The other connections are being built.

What ultri reads

  • Estimate PDFs

Upload the insurer’s estimate and yours.

    Live now

  • Your estimating system

Your own estimate as structured data from its export, so nothing gets misread off a page.

  • Your estimating mailbox

Connected with your permission. Insurer estimates and adjuster replies arrive on their own, so nobody forwards anything.

  • A phone at teardown

The tech gets a list of the photos and measurements each likely dispute will need.

  • Payments

Remittance emails and your accounting system show what was actually paid.

What ultri hands back

  • Email from your mailbox

Drafts wait for your one-tap approval, then go out from your address, in your shop’s name.

  • A checklist to key in

The exact lines to change in your estimating system, in order. A person types them.

  • Finished packages

Supplements with photos and invoices attached, customer letters and escalation files, as PDFs.
